Lesson 6 - Locating Instructional Resources
Objectives
  1. Locate and analyze examples of each of the types of instructional resources found on the web.
  2. Locate instructional resources specific to one's own subject/discipline or grade level and determine their value for one's own teaching situation.
  3. Identify criteria and processes for integrating Internet-based instruction into lesson plans.
  4. Examine strategies for implementing Internet-based lessons.
  5. Describe Internet-based lessons that support collaboration, critical thinking, or peer-to-peer mentoring.

     

  


Lesson 6 - Activities

  1. Peruse the lesson plan, project, and standards links provided in the lesson.
  2. Start a folder in your browser bookmarks (or favorites) to store some of the links that may be most useful to you. Organize the folder so that you can easily add to and retrieve from it potential resources.
  3. Send a message to the class listserv that briefly describes a lesson or project that interests you. Identify the title of the project, the URL, the purpose, grade/discipline, and the general strategies used.
