  1. Discuss the issues surrounding copyright, child safety, and security as related to web-based instruction.
  2. Identify suitable strategies for educating parents, children and staff members regarding these issues.

  1. Read the articles "Censorware" and the "Copyright Tutorial" and view the slideshow, "Ethical Issues Surrounding TechnologyUse in Schools."
  2. Peruse the other readings and websites related to ethics, copyright, safety, and security on the web.
  3. Review your own work and that of your colleagues, checking for inadvertant inappropriate links and copyright violations. Remedy infractions
