Lesson 14 - Student Publishing
Objectives
- Identify and/or locate free web sites for students to post their work to the Internet.
- Identify the critical elements of an Acceptable Use Policy and strategies for school-wide and classroom implementation.
- Peruse the readings and websites related to the publishing of student work.
- Obtain a copy of your own school or district's AUP.
- Get a copy of the policies and procedures for publishing student work on your school or district server.
- Select one or more of the free webhost sites and publish a small webpage to it to see if it could be used by your students for publishing (optional).
- Module reflection - Complete the Module 5 Reflection form.
